Oktoberfest at Alloy

Oktoberfest 2020 Facebook.jpg

Well, we all knew that Oktoberfest would be a little different this year. But that doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate this glorious time of year in a responsible way - especially as the real Oktoberfest in Munich has been cancelled (the last time this happened was during WWII!)

#1 rule of Oktoberfest - you MUST have a reservation, with a strict adherence to the max reservation time of 90 minutes. There will be very limited (if any) seating available on the day of, so plan accordingly and make yours now: https://tableagent.com/minneapolis/alloy-brewing-company/

We’ve got lots of fun planned, including the release of our Oktoberfest ‘Nummer Eins’

Food Truck Big Daddy's Rockin' Q will be on hand from 3-9pm

We’ll have two chances for you to participate in a socially-distanced Stein Holding Contest at 1 pm and 5pm (Prize: $20 Alloy Gift Card)

Yes, this is exactly what it sounds like. Those 1 liter beer mugs are heavy, especially when full. We challenge you to see how long you can hold one out at arms length!

Oktoberfest ‘Tracht’ attire, including dirndl and lederhosen are welcome and strongly encouraged if you don’t want to feel left out!

Last but not least, we’ll enjoy live polka music from 2-5pm!

Polka band Craig Ebel & DyVersaCo play a wide variety of music from polkas, waltzes, and schottisches to country and Cajun - fun to watch and unique song selections with a solid beat. (http://www.itspolkatime.com/dymeat.html)

Hope to see you all there!

Fine Print:
- No Groupons will be redeemed during this event (bring those back another day to enjoy!)
- Don't forget your face masks (not required once on the patio or when sitting at your table)
- Flights will be limited to flights of 4
- Reservations are limited to 90 minutes and end times will be enforced (we want to make sure everyone has a chance to enjoy Oktoberfest!)
- Please have patience as we work through a larger event than usual while still maintaining our dedication to social distancing and keeping everyone safe.
- Don’t forget to tip your beertender!
